Saadia Faruqi

Saadia Faruqi is a Pakistani American interfaith activist, law enforcement trainer and author of the short story collection, "Brick Walls: Tales of Hope & Courage from Pakistan." Her essays have appeared in Huffington Post, NBC Asian America and Tikkun Daily, among others. She is editor-in-chief of Blue Minaret, a magazine for Muslim art, poetry and prose.

What was your favorite childhood toy?

My favorite childhood toy was a doll house the shape of a tree, complete with an elevator in the trunk. It was awesome!
