Reyna Gobel

Reyna Gobel writes about college life, nutrition and fitness. She grew up in four different states but always connected with New York City the most – although she never lived there growing up. Her parents are from the Bronx and Queens. When the family visited New York, they’d always stop for pizza and bagels. The pizza chef in Little Italy always said “It’s the tap water that makes the pizza good.” She now lives in Brooklyn but rarely eats pizza or bagels, but gorges on New York city tap water. She swears she’ll never purchase bottled water within the city limits. She recently became a Yankees fan because if they’re good enough for Adam Sandler . . .

What was your favorite toy as a child?

Little Orphan Annie records. My parents tried to buy me dolls several times in my life, but anything musical was a top 10 hit with me.
