Mary is a young mom to two girls, Clementine and Hazel Jane. She lives with her husband in the Midwest. She is a freelance writer and occasional blogger. What was your favorite childhood toy?
When I was 6 years old, my parents made the choice to get rid of all of our Barbies because they set unrealistic expectations for women's bodies. In hindsight, I think they were right. But if you I had asked my what my favorite toy was a 6 years old I would have replied, "My neighbor's Barbie, but don't tell my mom."
