What was your favorite childhood toy?
Books and books and books and books. My parents gave me literally every Boxcar Children book yet published in one giant box for Christmas one year. At which point I retreated to my bedroom and read for one month straight emerging from time to time only to grab a fresh jar of dill pickles for sustenance. It was the best gift of all time for everyone involved.
