She is a graduate of UC Berkeley and her favorite author is Jorge Luis Borges. Jay thought she was setting her career on hold when she became a stay-at-home mamá, but found she could stay connected and creative through the internet. Thus, she sometimes refers to herself as a blog-at-home mom. She lives in Claremont, Calif. with her husband and daughter.
