Gulnaz Saiyed is a mommy-mamma-mom-ammi, a doctoral student, an American-Muslim-Desi, a critical Potterhead, an unadventurous foodie, a Kentuckian, a reluctant Chicagoan, a sugar addict, a once-quilter and would-like-to-be ceramicist. What was your favorite childhood toy?

My favorite toy was a stuffed raccoon with a little red tongue. I lost him on the school bus in first or second grade. I still feel sad about it!
