Dr. Sandy Chung is the mother of four children and a board-certified pediatrician. She is president of Fairfax Pediatric Associates, and serves on boards and committees of several national, state, and local medical organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics. She loves to teach and is on the faculty of several medical schools in Washington, DC, and Virginia, including Georgetown University and Virginia Commonwealth University.
Author of "Dr. Sandy's Top to Bottom Guide to Your Newborn: Answers to the Questions Every New Parent Asks," she writes a parenting blog, has published several child health articles, and has been interviewed for radio, television and newspapers including The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.
Her hardest and most rewarding job is being a mom. She loves her wonderful kids and they teach her what she is doing wrong on a daily basis. She loves to read and write for fun, travel, eat great food, and try new things. Check out her blog here.
What was your favorite toy as a child?
A very well-loved stuffed animal puppy. He was my greatest companion until my parents decided that I needed a little brother instead!
