Christabel Nsiah-Buadi

Christabel Nsiah-Buadi is an award-winning Public Radio Broadcaster and a cultural and media observer. In addition to producing shows for National Public Radio, KPCC, KCRW the Pacifica Network, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Air America Radio, she has hosted shows on BBC Radio and produced content for KCET.org and London's Colourful Radio. Her written work has been published in MTV Desi, the Amsterdam News and the book, "Have Milk, Will Travel: Adventures In Breastfeeding" (Demeter Press, 2013). She is a media board advisor for One World Children's Fund, which works with on the ground organizations to improve the lives of children affected by poverty. She is also the founder of www.awesomelittlebeings.com, an online resource for parents and teachers looking for good childrens books that put children of color at the center of story.

What was your favorite childhood toy?

I remember being in love with my first Lego set. I got it when I was around 3 years old. I loved making things.
