"I just held his favorite ball in front of him and he crawled right over to it! He really wanted his ball, and was actually a bit angry that I had taken it from him! It was really cute."

"Isn't that hilarious? My baby loves to eat — like mother, like daughter, I guess. The thing that got my baby crawling was a biscuit. She must have been extra hungry that day!"

"It was Christmas Eve and we were with my family. My baby is in love with my cousin, and they were playing on the floor. He crawled for the first time then, toward my cousin, who had started walking away. I'm convinced he is his favorite person."

"Our third baby started crawling almost right out of the womb, it seemed, thanks to her two older siblings! I think she just wanted to be able to keep up with them, so she started crawling after them a lot sooner than expected, and she hasn't stopped since!"

"Our baby was a late crawler, so it took a lot of time and patience on both of our parts! With a good amount of encouragement and praise, he finally started crawling, and you could sense the pride he felt! It was a big moment for all of us!"

A Strange Obsession

"My baby was obsessed with trash — wrappers, lint, tissues. Whatever you don't want her to get and put in her mouth, is what she will put in her mouth. It's inevitable. Of course this is what she crawled toward first — the thing I didn't want her to get. Regardless, it got her attention and kept her captivated until she had it! And then we promptly took it away from her. Such is life."

"Our dog and cat were my baby's motivation to start crawling. He always wanted to chase them around and catch them. Mainly so he could chew on them or pull their tails. Thankfully, we have very calm animals."

"We were watching a kids' television show and he was loving all of the bright colors and playful songs. He usually just sits there, rocking back and forth, but this particular day he got so excited he just had to be closer to the action—and he crawled right to it! Then, once he got there, he proceeded to rock some more. It was adorable."
