The Voice contestant Talia Smith announced she was expecting a baby after being eliminated from the singing competition Monday night.
“This whole journey started with a sad story and now I’m standing here and my whole life has changed, so I’m just grateful,” she said, according to Billboard.
“I want my future baby to look onstage and be like, ‘That was my mommy!'” she added while patting her stomach.

Immediately afterward, Kelly appeared shocked by Talia's announcement.
“Did she just say baby?” Kelly asked.
Talia took to Instagram after the performance, and once again, made a subtle reference to her baby.
"THE LOVE AND SUPPORT I HAVE RECIEVED IS OVERWHELMINGLY BEAUTIFUL," she wrote. "IF I HAVENT THANKED YOU PERSONALLY, JUST KNOW YOU ARE IM MY HEART. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE KIND MESSAGES AND LOVE. THIS IS MORE THAN ANYONE COULD HOPE FOR."
"BECAUSE OF YOU ALL, MY BABY IS EXPERIENCING AN ABUNDANCE OF LOVE AND GOOD FEELINGS!!! IM PROUD OF THE STORY I GET TO SHARE WITH YOU AND CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE TO COME," she added.
She also wrote about her time on the show.
"This smile came from my soul!!! I can't say how honored, blessed, and grateful I am to have had this opportunity. ❤️ @niallhoran
You are as kind as they say. Thank you for always being so reachable and caring. @nbcthevoice," she wrote.
"The journey wasn't as long as I would've like but this process was a blast! I have ZERO REGRETS…(Maybe a pitchy note or two ) but these memories will be one for the books. To everyone who has supported me through this journey (this includes tuning in every week to see me even if I wasn't on) I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU. Your support carried me and carries me still," she added.
It's unclear how far along Talia is, but it's safe to say her fans were also shocked after watching Monday's episode.
"Did @TaliaSmith_Twt just announce her pregnancy on @NBCTheVoice?!" someone tweeted moments after the clip aired on TV. "So exciting! CONGRATULATIONS! I wish you and your husband all the best!"
