Reality TV star Jinger Duggar treated her Instagram followers to a rare treat over the weekend when she posted a new photo of her two young daughters playing in the sand. The girls were dressed up for the occasion and seemed to be having the time of their lives as they frolicked together, prompting fans to ask where the time has gone.

Jinger shared the rare snapshot of her daughters — 4-year-old Felicity and 2-year-old Evangeline — who she shares with husband Jeremy Vuolo. The barefoot sisters appeared to be enjoying some quality time outside, adorably holding hands as they navigated what appeared to be a sandy plot in the yard.

Jinger wrote a sweet caption for the picture before sharing it with her 1.4 million followers. "These are the best days of our lives," she wrote. "So grateful for our sweet little princesses."
The photo comes at the tail end of what has been a busy season for Jinger since she's been doing a media blitz to promote her new tell-all memoir, Becoming Free Indeed.

"They are growing up so fast," one person commented about Felicity and Evangeline, who do seem to have had a major growth spurt since the last time Jinger shared pictures of them.
Another commented on the sibings' obviously close-knit bond. "The girls sure are getting big," they wrote. "I bet they are best friends. They have beautiful hair. I loved your book."
Of course, there were some who found something to criticize about the photo
Much to the disappointment of fans eager to keep up with the Duggars' lives, Jinger and Jeremy have joined the growing list of celebrities who are opting to keep their children's faces shielded from the public.
"I'm sorry, I've said it before. What is to be gained by showing the backs of children?" one person griped. "Maybe no pictures at all and just declare that you have children?"
Jinger is just being a protective parent
Given everything that Jinger has been through in her life — including appearing on two hit reality shows that followed her family's story from a very young age and navigating the fallout of her oldest brother Josh's crimes — we think she may have a pretty good idea of the dangers of introducing young kids to the world at large. For now, we're just glad she's giving us even a glimpse of her adorable girls. Like everyone else, we can't believe how big they've gotten!
