The thing to remember when you’re one of the biggest recording artists in the world, there are going to be rumors swirling around about you just about every day. The world has been interested in Taylor Swift‘s love life since she was a teenager, so it’s no surprise that people have really latched on ever since she started dating and then became engaged to the Kansas City Chiefs star player, Travis Kelce. When the couple announcement they were getting married in August 2025, the gossip mill has been busy trying to keep track if there’s some other life-changing news on the horizon for this much talked about couple!
Some people online are speculating that Taylor Swift is pregnant.
Someone by the name of Matt Wallace on X, who shares entertainment and other news videos on his page, decided to get the rumor mill fully churning by stating that “Taylor Swift is 100% pregnant!” with a video that he put together that includes some videos of the singer that may or may not hint that she is pregnant.
The first clip of Taylor in the video shows her singing her hit song “Opalite” in a studio. Here’s the thing that seems slightly off with this clip — it’s being filmed from a POV that’s pretty much just from her shoulders up. You really can’t make out anything happening below her chest, which is interesting.
The second clip shows Taylor with her naturally curly hair down, including some bangs, in the same studio with “Opalite” playing in the background. She gives the camera a little wave, and again, it’s a close-up shot of pretty much just her face.
One person in the X comments agrees with Matt’s take. “I’m getting pregnancy vibes also. Don’t have proof. Just vibes. I hope it turns out to be true!!!” they shared. Someone with a bit of sense points out that the timeline for her recording this song takes us back to a year or two ago. “The math ain’t mathing, if the album came out in October last year, this would have been recorded months prior, a baby should’ve popped out by now if that was the case,” they wrote.
Some people wondered Taylor and Travis were covering up on a recent NYC outing for a specific reason.
On April 18, 2026, Page Six reported that Taylor and Travis attempted to make “an incognito entrance” into New York City hotspot, Casa Cipriani.
Only, it’s pretty difficult to make out Taylor’s signature blonde locks and Travis’ muscular stature because they’re both covering themselves up with two giant black umbrellas.
What’s with all the secrecy, guys? Perhaps, this could have to do with Taylor’s previous relationship with Matty Healy. Express.co.uk reported in 2023 that the exclusive members only NYC hot spot reportedly banned a few members after they took a few “date night” photos of Taylor and Matt Healy and posted them online. So, it does make sense that Taylor and Travis would be extra careful when heading to this luxury New York City club.
Or perhaps the engaged couple were looking for a little privacy ahead of their much talked about wedding. Who can say for sure?
Fans have been predicting when Taylor may get pregnant all year.
When you’re a dedicated Swiftie and she finally gets engaged to be married to the love of her life, there are going to be some fans who need to put their two cents in when it comes to predicting what Taylor’s life is going to look like the next few years.
This Reddit thread that’s dedicated to 2026 predictions about Taylor’s life — and yes, it seems like a bit much to some, but not those who have every single Taylor Swift album categorized from best to worst in their minds — and many are thinking that she will likely get pregnant with her first child sooner rather than later.
“I hate to be the “biological clock” person but part of me does think that, if she wants to make some babies and carry them herself, the wedding will be sooner than later just because of her age and you never know how long it’ll take to get pregnant,” one person predicted. Interesting take, but lots of women are having babies later in life now.
Another person in the Reddit thread dropped a prediction that included some of their wedding party dream picks. “She’ll get married on June (June bride) 13 (fave number). Abigail maid of honor, Kelce daughter as flower girl. Ed Sheeran will perform at the reception. They’ll be serving Pimms. Pregnant within the year. No new album for 2026,” they wrote.
Predictions are all well and good, but it’s always important to remember that these are real people, so the speculation should always come from a place of whimsy and fun. These things will happen at the exact time that’s right for Taylor and Travis!
